Inspection upholds Maine town’s rejection of slots (Bangor Daily News)

SCARBOROUGH, Maine — Scarborough’s rejection of slot machines has been upheld by an inspection of ballots by the clerk’s office. The proposal to allow the slot machines was defeated 5,804 to 5,565 on Nov. 4, and officials found no flaws that required a change in the vote.
